Life 96.5 Contest Rules

These rules pertain to all contests hosted by Life 96.5 KNWC and online at life965.fm. In the following rules, Life 96.5 KNWC refers to Northwestern College and Northwestern Media in St. Paul, MN, which owns Life 96.5 KNWC.

- Life 96.5 KNWC reserves the right to determine contest winner(s) at random, to be announced at a pre-determined date.

- No purchase or donation is necessary to win a contest by Life 96.5 KNWC.

- When calling the Life 96.5 KNWC studios, you assume your call may be broadcast and/or recorded and give permission for us to utilize that call or broadcast for later use.

- In contests whereby the telephone is the primary means of entry, person operating the phones at Life 96.5 KNWC shall have final decision in naming contest winner.

- Life 96.5 KNWC has no liability due to failure of phone equipment, phone network, or any other breakdown in telephone communication.

- In contests whereby the internet (email or web page entry form) is the primary means of contest entry, Life 96.5 KNWC has no liability due to failure, misdirection, or any other breakdown of internet communication.

- As a winner on Life 96.5 KNWC, you understand and consent that your voice, image, or likeness may be used in the future for promotions, broadcast, or on the internet.

- Life 96.5 KNWC reserves the right to disqualify any contestant if they are found to be in violation of the contest rules.

- Employees of Northwestern College and Northwestern Media (NWC&M), spouses, immediate family members of NWC&M employees, and any persons involved in providing the prizes are not eligible to participate in or win any contests or giveaways on Life 96.5 KNWC.

- Neither Life 96.5 KNWC nor its employees shall be held liable for any damage, claim, or injury from any contest or prize awarded from a contest.

- Prizes are not transferable and have no cash equivalent. A prize of similar value may be substituted by Life 96.5 KNWC at its discretion.

- Entry into a contest will imply agreement with said rules and regulations.

- In the instance of a tie, Life 96.5 KNWC will make the final decision in a way it feels is fair and prudent.

- All decisions of Life 96.5 KNWC are final and may not be contested.

- Participation in any contest is limited to those 18 years of age and over unless otherwise stated.

- Life 96.5 KNWC is not liable for any damages to or loss of prize caused by the Postal Service or other delivery service.

- All local, state and federal taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner.

- Contest rules maybe edited or amended by Life 96.5 KNWC at any time at their sole discretion. If rules are altered they will be posted online at the Life 96.5 KNWC website (www.life965.fm) and a new copy will be available at the Life 96.5 studios.
